One year ago today, our little boy was born on a Monday night--five days early. After 16 hours of labor, we ultimately decided on a last minute c-section. He was 7 pounds, 13 ounces and 20.5 inches tall. And worth all the wait (and weight).
(One day I'll actually write about the birth story, the first weeks, the night nurse, all the firsts.)
Speaking of which, we celebrated his first birthday this weekend, and are in awe of how neat he is every single day. This tiny little person has effected huge change in our lives. Children are an incredible blessing; I never knew. Thank you, my sweet Delicious, for making me aware. Happy birthday.
