We've been busy with just the day to day. Last weekend we went back down to Ikea to buy stuff for Delish's room. With only about a month until we move in to our new house, we're doing all the preparation purchases. Here's a little glimpse of the items we purchased (or plan to).
**NOTE: There is a voluntary recall on the Ikea Sniglar cribs (similar to the Somnat that we purchased). The issue is the bolts under the mattress support. If you have the Sniglar or any other Ikea crib for that matter, check to make sure the bolts extend beyond the nut. If they do not extend longer than the nut, there is a chance it might come undone and the support could collapse, posing a suffocation hazard. (Thankfully ours are the correct bolts.) Double note! Ikea USA no longer carry cribs on their website.

FRIEND! I wrote a super-long comment but then my computer decided to die for a second. We bought the Hemnes chest of drawers and will be using it also as a changing table. It's a little too high but whatever, right? I do like the look of white furniture! I can't believe how big Mr. D is getting - how did the time pass us by so quickly? I've missed you! I hope you and the fam are doing well!
Hi! I was on the IKEA website last week looking at that crib and saw they posted a safety recall on that product. Just wanted to share the news so you can return/exchange the crib before baby Delish uses it. The recall was due to the bolts securing the crib support to the frame being faulty (eeks). Hope this helps!

Elisa: Yes! I saw the recall notice when we were at Ikea! Thank you so much for the heads up! I also just noted on the post. Thanks again! Ours has the correct bolts, so I'm not too concerned. Are you still going to get the crib? It looks like they have removed them from the website!

Very cute items for Delicious' room! I purchased the Ikea Hemnes chest for the nursery as well and placed a changing pad on top. I love the smaller drawer nestled in the top drawer. I found that these fabric storage boxes fit perfectly in the empty row.

Thanks for the link. I think I will be heading to IKEA later! I love the stuff there and I find it all so affordable.
