**************
Delicious turned six months old this past Sunday--the day before our anniversary. We were down at the Homestead for the long weekend, and it was his first big trip. He slept well in his Pack n' Play the first night and just as well in the hotel-provided (CUTE) roll away crib the remaining nights.
Crankypants slept well after getting used to the crib at the Homestead. They say to provide baby with something that smells like home (either a blanket or soft toy). He's trying to soothe himself by eating his toy here.
He is getting so big. Yesterday we were at the pediatrician's office and he weighed in at almost 20 pounds. He's in the 75%-tile across the board (weight, height and head circumference). This month he rolled all the way over, loves to blow raspberries, is incredibly dexterous (has been trying to hold his bottle since he was three months old, and now can fully hold it on his own). He refuses to sit in his tub, and stands up, holding on to the sides of his bucket and leans against its side. He loves to say "Aboo, aboo!" and does these funny barking sounds.
Strong enough to hold the bottle on his own
For his 1/2 year birthday, we happened to spend a magnificent afternoon along the Jackson river, eating fresh trout and enjoying the beautiful view. I dipped his feet in the river and he slept under the trees. Not a bad way to celebrate, huh?
The good life: sleeping under the trees next to the river

He looks so wonderful! So glad you had a great anniversary trip
how the heck can it be 6 months already?! Man, time does fly especially once you have children (for me anyway)... He is going to be an early walker I think-be ready ;)
With every blog post, I get a little bit more smitten with Mr Delicious. Why do you do this to me?
I love the pretty flowers in a bottle. So classy even by the river!
That photo of you and him in the river is beautiful :) he's a handsome looking boy, you're very lucky :) x
Again, lovely, he is so very handsome and I love the bottle holding shot. It just says "I may well be a highly trained connoisseur of milk but I still pee on Mickey!".
