We Miss Our Friends

As I mentioned, Fay and J (and Baby L) came for a visit from Munich this weekend. We showed them the home construction site. We had lunch at a local eatery, Maple Avenue Restaurant (I think it will be our new neighborhood favorite). Went to the Natural History Museum. It was a blustery and rainy day, but we had good times laughing and catching up. Baby S and L met for the first time. All of us, sitting there around the table at lunch hammered home our new state of being: parents. "Can you believe it?" was the question of the day.

Seeing them made us miss them even more!

Together again

Rainy day at the home site

Maple Avenue Restaurant: 10 tables cute
Love the way L excitedly points. "Babybabybabyaby!"

"I'ma gonna touch you!"
This is what it'd be like to have two kids...
Contrasts
Fried cauliflower. YUM!
Bulgogi PITA? Yes, please. With kimchee sauce. A fusion that works.
Panko chick sandwich. With a toy. Because that's what happens...
My how fast they grow...little baby L is no longer a baby.
Delicious' first museum
Flowers
What a day for a visit. It poured as we left. As we were sitting in our car, waiting it out, Fay & J got drenched to come over to say goodbye. SADNESS. Sad to know that we'll only see them for a few hours once or twice a year.

See you in Munich next year, guys!

Thanks guys! We had a lovely time and once again your photos are wonderful! As soon as L saw these photos we had the whole "baaaabbbbeeeee" thing again. I think she's in love, and with good reason, little S is a cutie. Hugs.

Thanks, ladies!

Jen: Can't wait to see you guys!
Rubies: Hey Mama! You think? I'm so glad you said that because everyone keeps saying how much Delicious looks like G. But I think they just mean that he looks Caucasian.

Felicia!: Aw, thanks Felicia! Hope you're well.
